www.pilotenagentur.de is run in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Pilotenagentur commits itself to the protection of user privacy. This privacy statement informs you in detail about which data are collected, saved, and how they are used. This statement is addressed to pilots and to flight agencies that wish to have access to the pilot database or to individual contact information.



1. Data Collection and Storage

1.1 Utilization of General Services and Information Offerings
As long as you merely view our general offerings and use the information stated there, we do not need to collect any personal data from you. The same applies, if you wish to view our pilot database to inquire whether it contains interesting candidates for your needs.

1.2 Registration of Pilots
Candidate registration (Registration) requires entry of personal user data, in particular name, surname, address, and e-mail address.

In order to meet your requirements, you may further provide us with additional information, without which a placement via the pilot database is difficult. This information refers to the current and desired occupation type, desired places of work, desired salary, professional experience, etc.

1.3 Registration of Flight Operations
Registering as a flight operation (Registration) requires entry of professional as well as some personal user data. In particular, this information refers to name of the flight operation, address, and e-mail address. Additionally, you may provide additional contact information, such as telephone and fax number.

1.4 Time and Point of Transmission
Your submitted data are only transferred as you declare, by checking the respective box, that you agree with our Terms of Use as well as with the utilization and use of your data as described in this privacy statement.

1.5 Data Release
As you register with us as a pilot, you data will not be released into the database until we receive a copy of your flight license by either mail or fax and until we thoroughly inspected such documents. (Note to pilots in training: please mail or fax us a copy of your training certificate). We find this procedure necessary to prevent misuse and damage of our database. Herewith we are also able to warrant the high qualitative expectations of our database.

As you register with us as a flight operation, we will not provide contact information of the candidates of your interest until we receive and approve the respective form completed, signed and stamped with your company seal. We find this procedure necessary to protect the contact information of our candidates.



2. Data utilization within our company

We use the information obtained from you to administer and manage your data, in particular to handle the services, which we offer job seekers and employers. Additionally we will utilize your information in relation of this service, such as answering any of your questions. Further, we will utilize your contact information in order to send you announcements and information of your interest. In case we process data in the terms afore mentioned, but exceed legal limits, we will always obtain your consent in advance.



3. Data Disclosure to Third Parties

In order to provide successful job placements it is inevitably necessary to provide specific personal information of the job candidate to potential employers. By submitting a profile to the searchable pilot database, you agree that Pilotenagentur is able to access the information and share such with potential employers in order to proceed with job placements. Data that are subject to being available to possible employers are Last Name, First Name, Address, Telephone, E-mail and all pilot specific data. If available, name and Address of the current employer will not be provided to potential employers. Pilotenagentur ensures that before mentioned contact information will be only shared with registered flight operations (as outlined in section 1). Flight operations or any other inquiring organizations that are not registered will not receive any records.



4. Your Rights

By agreeing to this data protection statement, you accede to the collection, storage and transfer of your personal data for the above mentioned purposes.

You may cancel your agreement for future effectiveness anytime. We will log the agreement and such a cancellation. In order to find out which of your personal data is stored, you may contact us at all times. You have always the right to delete your data. Please get in contact with us for that.
